We found a dead fully mature bed bug in our sheets at 2am the night of our stay. We inspected the rest of the room and found no sign of any additional bed bugs or infestation. We went down to the lobby to inform the front desk and this is when the hilarity ensued. If you've seen the movie 'idiocracy', you might have a good starting point of how this went. First he said bed bugs are just myths. That's when we offered to present the dead bed bug to him, but he recoiled and declined our offer. Then after telling him our room numbers (210 and 212) he said something along the lines of "awww shoot, we only ever have problems with the first floor." Also he said the owners just paid for renovation so there's no way they'll pay for that expensive steam cleaning that takes care of the little guys. He wouldn't give us a refund since we ordered through expedia so we are still working on that. Even given the seriousness of the situation I have to admit it was difficult to restrain my laughter given the complete lunacy of the conversation that was being had.
