Arrived on 10/14 at 6 pm. Our rooms was not clean, the bathroom had hair and the floors of our rooms were not vacuumed. We went out for the evening, came back and slept in the room. Upon waking we found brown stains on the sheets. Not knowing what they were, we quickly checked out thinking it was dirty sheets. Subsequently we broke out in bed bug bites (diagnosed by 2 different doctors) head to toe, both children. Allergic reactions followed, weeks of painful issues, and horrible scarring. Management knew there were bed bugs. When I called, they said "oh I thought we moved you due to the bug issue", but that was not our party, they were referring to another guest. They should have moved EVERYONE in that annex, it is INFESTED. After weeks of back and forth, management reimbursed the basics we incurred in costs. When we called back as a second child and household had bed bugs (carried home from the hotel on our suitcases) they refused to take any calls or answer emails. Management agreed to pay lost wages and then refused to send a check. The place is not safe, they knew it was not safe and they still had people stay in that infested annex row of rooms. Board of health was contacted as well, they suggested this site for reporting.
