Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Found bedbugs in our room July 14-19th 2026, the first time I went to the front desk with a picture of one I was told “I don’t know what kinda bug that is but it’s not a bedbug” later that night I took a live bug down in a cup to show them that it was I fact a bedbug, I was handed trash bags and a roll of quarters and when I asked what about our luggage? We can’t dry our luggage they shrugged and said sorry then moved us and said luggage to another room which now has been contaminated with bed bugs too, no discount,no refund no bags for our luggage so we didn’t carry them home, no offer to pay to have our home treated if we end up with an infestation, they even refused to give me documentation that we were moved due to the bedbugs saying “we don’t have anything saying that or any kind of notes” so they can avoid liability.
