My wife and I checked in to AirB&B room on July 3, 2026. Woke up next morning with what appeared to be a few bites on my ankles. Didn’t think much of it, thought maybe a small spider. Slept second night and bites were much worse in the morning. Rolled down sheets and found two black specks on sheet at lower end of bed. Used magnifier on phone and saw that one was scurrying around. Took photos and video. Reported to building attendant. Attendant was helpful, giving us option to change rooms or check out. We opted to change rooms and the new room was fine. Was told manager would contact me next day. Didn’t happen and again was told that manager would be in the following day (our check out day), July 7, 2026. Attendants were all helpful and nice. The manager, Billy Gunn, was generally professional, but did not acknowledge bed bugs or apologize for our inconvenience. Instead, he went straight to showing me a report from inspection the day before that indicated no bed bugs. I showed and provided him with photos and video of bugs and also of my and my wife’s bitten legs, which he did not acknowledge and again simply pointed to report. He indicated that the best he could do was provide one night credit. I am concerned that, with their bogus report, he did nothing to disinfect the room of bugs and that future guests will have issue.
