Timeline of Events: Check-In & Discovery: On 6/19/2026 at approximately 12:30 AM, I checked into Room 421. Shortly after entering, I discovered a live bed bug infestation actively present in the room. I sustained bites and captured high-quality photographic and physical evidence of the insects and my injuries. Management Notification: I immediately alerted the hotel front desk staff and presented the visual and physical proof of the active infestation. Contract Breach & Partial Compensation Offer: Management acknowledged the issue and had pest control confirm the issue but refused to issue a full reversal of charges for the uninhabitable room. Instead, they offered to compensate me for only a single night of my multi-night stay, thereby withholding funds for services they structurally failed to safely deliver. Public Health Reporting: Due to the severe public health risk to other travelers, I exercised my civic right to file an official complaint with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) for formal sanitary code inspection. Retaliatory Ejection: I presented calm and assertive. Throughout the process management was dismissive and deployed front desk stuff with security to diminish my concerns and did not communicate with me. Upon discovering that I was documenting the issue and holding the business accountable, hotel management deployed private security guards to my room. Acting under corporate instruction, security issued an immediate verbal trespass warning under NRS § 207.200 and forcibly escorted me off the property, stranding me without alternative accommodations.
