on 2026-05-29 We just stayed for 4 nights at the Critter Cove cabin at Parkside Resorts in Pigeon Forge. This was our 3rd stay over years but absolutely the worst. The 2nd night my wife found a “tick” like bug in our room and she grabbed toilet paper and flushed it quick, thinking it was a tick. This morning as we leave, my wife sees a large bug in the bed and kills it, which was full of blood. Upon further inspection, it was a large bedbug and similar to the first bug. We grabbed our belongings then immediately headed out early. I called the office and informed them shortly after they opened and let them know, which they verified later. I was offered 2 nights refund and apologies, but think of sleeping in bedbugs, biting you at night, would 2 nights refund be enough for you knowing this? After I asked for a full refund (when they asked how they can make it right) they sent me an email (shown in pic) for one night! I hope everyone read this and takes note of what happened to hopefully save you money and stress. Search other reviews, seems like it’s a problem in other cabins there also! I have pics and email communication to back any of my claims up. Beware! We Won’t be back!
