I am having a home renovated and made a reservation here from April 1st- April 7th. It was myself and my 2 children and my husband. Immediately upon arrival my daughter sat on the bed and screamed because she saw a bug. And lo and behold it was a BED BUG. I paid $440 for the room. When we went to the front desk and spoke to the lady that checked us in, she understood and gave me paperwork where she was going to give us a refund. Here we are 6 days later and I still haven’t received any refund. I called the hotel and the RUDE woman I spoke with today said the hotel denied my refund because they had someone check the room and they didn’t find anything. She was extremely condescending and told me to “contact a lawyer she would be waiting” I ended up being less than pleasant with her. I have photos for proof with time stamps. I showed these to the original lady that checked us in and it was no problem. Now it is. This hotel has been reported by me on multiple platforms and I will be calling the Health Inspector tomorrow.
