November 28th, 2025 at 4:18am. (early Friday morning, the day after Thanksgiving) This was the 2nd night of our group of 5 people, but the 1st night that one of the young guest slept on the day bed in the sun room. The guest was awakened by something crawling on him. When the guest woke up there was a bug crawling on him ( a video of this bug was taken). Unfamiliar with bed bugs, the young guest did not say anything to the rest of us until he was covered with bites on Saturday. When we reported this to the guest host and sent the video as requested, He apologized and said that the pest company would come out and inspect and that he would keep us updated. We also reported that other members of our group broke out with bites (we have pictures) He also later informed us that a case with the management company would be opened and would have them follow the proper inspection process and for us to give him time. A few days later he informed us that terminex was there for inspection and that he would keep us up to date. Thereafter we did not hear anything, so we reached out to Evolve/Airbnb. Several emails back and forth from several different people (we just seemed to be getting the run around). When we stated that we would make a report then they refunded us $165 (less than what we paid for a night) and then they told us to contact Airbnb directly to get the other fees that we had paid. When we mentioned to them that this was unacceptable, they stated that they would look into it and get back to us. As of today they have still have not.
