Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

2026-01-19 The hotel sent me an email advising the following "Our pest control company has completed a thorough inspection of your room, and unfortunately, they did find evidence consistent with potential bed bug activity" The situation was handled horribly, the front desk staff was rude to say the least. The initial response was the following: "we will be comping your full room and tax for your entire stay. Once your luggage has been moved this evening, our pest control team will return to perform a full treatment of the affected room." I had bite marks on my neck, face and arms. They were just going to move me until I told them that they had to send all my stuff out for special cleaning as bed bugs traveled.
