Stayed here the night of 10/4/2025 in room 124. Within 10 minutes of lying down on the bed about 10 pm, my elbow started itching intensely. Within minutes 8 welts started to form on my elbow and another on the back of my arm. I quickly got up, and an adult bed bug was sitting on the sheets right where my elbow was resting. I captured the bed bug, immediately got dressed and exited the room. I showed the insect to the night desk staff and asked if she knew what this was. She indicated she did not. She offered to move me to another room and said she would contact the manager. After inspecting the second room (221) and seeing no evidence of bed bugs, I moved my belongings to the second room (and had no further bites in the second room. The next morning upon checking out I brought the issue to the attention of the manager and she said the night staff had informed her. She seemed completely unphased and proceeded to tell me "I usually tell people to put their clothes in a bag and put them in the dryer when they get home." Needless to say, it sounded like this was a regular occurrence at the hotel. The manager gave no indication about taking any steps to mitigate this issue in the room or hotel.
