I checked in on Friday, August 8 and did a preliminary bedbug check for the bed I was sleeping in- I didn’t notice any warning signs and proceeded to stay. Sunday, August 10, I woke up to check out and noticed a very large bedbug on the pillow of the bed next to mine. I immediately trapped it in a cup, took photos, and called the front desk. Her response was unphased and she didn’t offer anything other than to “put a note in the file”. I had to ask for garbage bags and she kept saying a manager would be in at 11 and I tried calling but apparently she only works 11-3 and was gone for the day by the time I got home. I have no idea if it was an isolated straggler or if the parts of the room were infested but I’m desperately trying to get information and they couldn’t care less. The rooms were musty and barely cleaned and for the price of this hotel, this should have been taken care of.
