I checked into the Hampton Inn & Suites on the 4/19th expecting a clean, comfortable stay. Instead, I woke up to find several itchy, red bites across my arms and legs. I immediately inspected the bed and found clear signs of bed bugs small blood stains and even a live one on the pillow. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, expecting at least concern or an apology but instead, I was met with defensiveness. The manager not only refused to inspect the room thoroughly, but also blamed me, saying the bugs “must have come in with me,” and insisted this wasn’t their problem. To top it off, they refused to refund my stay. I had to leave early, pay out of pocket for new accommodations, and worry about bringing these pests home. I would never stay at this property again, and I recommend others steer clear until they address this serious issue properly.
