Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We checked in on Monday March 11th for a 3 night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The Wednesday morning we noticed a bug crawling on our bed. I captured it and was about to crush it when I realized what it was. I did not notice any bites on me at the time and we went out all day. We basically only slept in the Hotel after full days out. Wed. night I started seeing bites on me only. It was late and we were ready for bed so We slept Wed. night in the same room. Thursday morning I had 10 bites on me plus one live bed bug in a ziplock bag. I showed pictures to management and they assured me they would kill the bugs in the room. Like I care at this point. I'm checking out. Fast forward to today. I have bites up and down both arms and legs. Up and down my back and stomach. One hand and one foot. It looks like they will be visible for a few weeks per internet research. We thought all the black specks on the sheet was lint from my black socks. Management said they would refund my parking fee for my trouble.
