I checked into Embassy Suites on Sunday 10/15/2023 around 10:30 - 11:00am. I was issued a key card to room 504. After check in we left prior to taking our stuff to the room. Later that evening me and my kids came back to shower and got ready for bed. Around 3:15am on Monday 10/16/2023 I woke up to my face and legs itching. I got out of the bed to go to the bathroom and seen bites on my legs and a bite on my face. I went back into the bedroom area and turned on the lights; and that is when I seen a bed bug on the headboard. I then made my kids get out of the bed and immediately took pictures and videos of the bugs and my bites. When I pulled the sheets back I seen a few more bed bugs crawling on the bed under the cover. I contacted the front desk and was advised that they would switch my room and have an exterminator come out to investigate. In the meantime they sent the maintenance man to my room with a new key and he proceeded to put the bed bugs I showed him in glass cup. After I checked out at around 12:30pm and exterminator still had not shown up, I was told the manager wanted to speak with me but was late coming in to work. I was advised they would have him call me which he never did! Around 2:00pm I called the hotel since I had still not heard from anyone and spoke to the assistant general manager and he stated it was nothing he can do until inspection. An hour or so went by and instead of a phone call I get an email at 3:26pm stating he could not refund me my money because they did not see any signs of bed bugs. After research this hotel has had several bad reviews of bed bugs. I cannot really speak for those reviews but I definitely experienced it and took videos and pictures. I am so disappointed in this hotel establishment as I have also contacted an attorney to get involved.
