It's 8/16/2023 10:45pm we found bedbugs in my daughter's room at their vacation establishment. The after hours number is practically useless, all the people did was come and take out the mattress and box spring. They also said our situation wasn't an emergency and that a fire is an emergency but that this wasn't. Bedbugs are an emergency and are super easy to spread! Like what are we supposed to do at nearly 11pm at night with bedbugs? We have photo evidence of the bedbugs. Not to mention my daughter that has bites on her plus the cost of now having to get trash bags and things at 10:45pm to bag all our stuff up and go to a laundry mat. We have to throw out our oldest kids suit case since it can't be put in the laundry. We have to buy spray for the car to be sure we didn't contaminate it. This is a nightmare and they are offering no help. This was supposed to be my husband and oldest kid's birthday family vacation now ruined, Plus we are on vacation and cant just up and go home. Plus the cost of laundry! They didn't offer to move us to a different room or pay for us to stay at a different hotel nothing. So here we are at now 10:56pm trying to figure out what to do since we obviously can't sleep in a place with bedbugs. We may now have to end our vacation early and we were supposed to have this place until Saturday! **Update** 3:00am 8/17/2023 Come to find out they didn't even replace the box spring in her room. No we did not let our kid back in the room and they left it upturned. They put the same box spring back in. When my husband went back in to reinspect to see if he could find any other traces he knew it was the same box spring because he noticed the same crack in it when he did his initial inspection omg! The nightmare continues,This is horrible, how can an establishment treat people like this? Total nightmare! No sleep and ending our vacation early! We have pictures too.
