Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed at this resort 1/16-1/18 - 2023; checked out early after finding bed bug. My son was covered in bites after day 2, brought to the attention of the hotel manager who stated, we only have 1 maintenance person working, we will check the room in the morning, it’s easier to look after you check out. He then gave my children popsicles and sent extra bedding to the room for advising us to sleep on the pull out sofa instead of the bed “just in case”. We then packed up and left since the issue wasn’t resolved. I also showed the lady at the desk photos and video of the bed bugs on the bed prior to leaving- she said the “manager will take care of it” otherwise could care less.
