11/13/2022,10:00PM. We found two bed bugs- one crawling across my chest and other under the pillow. We called the front desk, overnight manager came up and said he’s never dealt with this before and unsure what to do. He gave us another room down the hall. The next morning the general manager said he looked through the whole room and didn’t see any other bed bugs. Overall GM was very defensive and unapologetic. We took pictures to send as proof, overnight manager also visualized them crawling on our bed. GM begrudgingly said he would comp us for our stay. However, I’ve been following up for over the 2 months now and they still have not provided us with a refund. Would not stay there again.

Our family stayed at the Holiday Inn express & suites from 08/30-09/02/2025 in room 426. During the stay we began to notice bug bites. We asked that our room be cleaned and linen changed. Upon our arrival back to our room on 09/01 the beds had been made but the sheets had blood marks and remnants of the bed bug exoskeletons. We immediately notified the front desk. The person came up to the room and assessed what we had found. We were moved to another room which upon inspection had not been cleaned and we found a pair of shoes between the mattress and box spring. We moved again and in the next room we found the carpet had not been vacuumed; found dried contact lenses on the floor. The GM sent us an email informing us they had a professional company come to inspect and found nothing. I went to see my doctor on 09/05; who confirmed I do have bed bug bites. We have asked for a copy of the professional company report of assessment and notified the Dept of public health.
