1. Saturday, February 18, 2017 woke up numerous times with new bites every time I was startled and started scratching. 2. Management did not do anything that night we asked for a car to leave immediately as we have a four-month-old child and were extremely grossed out. The next day the front desk manager called my husband and refunded our room charge. But honestly I'm so concerned now that I brought something home and my bags I don't know What to do

We had a horrible stay involving bed bugs infestation and unprofessional staff-- would recommend others to stay away! This was easily the worst hotel stay we've had; for context, my husband and I travel a fair bit personally and professionally, and I am a current (and soon to be former) Hilton Diamond member. We were here earlier in the summer 2022 for a weekend, and ended our stay after discovering bed bugs in the bed. This was confirmed by Conrad NY Midtown staff who came into the room and inspected the bed bugs that we had found. We decided to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodations than to get another room on the hotel floor. This did not make for the best weekend trip (we were traveling for a wedding), but nothing like the unprofessionalism of the staff during the subsequent followup. After some initial email outreach on restitution and us sharing requested details (receipts that they needed), the hotel staff started to ghost us. Since then for 2+ months we have been passed among the front desk, hotel manager, and security team staff across various followup emails and phone calls. Invariably the alleged staff who should be addressing this are not available, on vacation, etc.-- leading to dropped followup and many false promises. If you want to bring bed bugs home and spend your personal money to replace your stuff-- book ASAP! If not, you can find MANY comparable luxury hotels right in Midtown.
