Got a reservation for motel 6, got room 233, everything seemed okay. Me and my partner watched TV and decided to go to sleep early around 10. I woke up around 1 am and when to the bathroom, when I went back to sleep my right arm started to get itchy, i scratched it but the itch wouldn't go away. Then my leg started to also feel itchy i decided to ignored it and it started to go away, but not for long. I then started to get that same itchy feeling on other places on my foot my but, my back and other arm. I started to feel itchy everywhere and because of that I could sleep i kept waking up and soon it was 3 am, when I had enough and decided to turn the lights on and I was horrified when I saw how bad it was. I wanted to cry I had over 27 bug bites my partner woke up and asked if I was okay, I told him what had happened and he got up from the bed and lifted the sheet and that's when we saw the first bed bug, it was huge and when we killed it it had a lot of blood, we kept looking and found another 2 on the bed. Since we didn't want to stay in the room anymore we decided to shower just in case and when we where going through our clothes we found 3 more bed bugs on our clothes we decided to throw the clothes away and just wear the necessary to get home and we then put the shoes on a plastic bag and walked out at 4 in the morning. At the front desk I was told the manager wasn't around and that I had to wait until 5, 6 pm to talk to him, we got home and when we where inspecting our shoes we found 2 more bed bugs and decided to just throw away the rest of our clothes and our shoes. I called in the afternoon to ask what time the manager would be there and was told around 4 pm I called at 4.30 and was told the manager had thing to do and to call back in 15 to 20 minutes. I was really mad they knew what I was calling for and he couldn't help me, so I decided to call expedia customer service since the reservation was made through expedia, the lady who answered said she was going to call the motel and ask for them to approve the refund, after a couple of minutes she said they had only approved a 50 percent refund, I was mad but said okay, after finishing the call I decided to call motels 6 corporate number the lady that answered was speaking really low and was kind of rude whenever I asked her what she had said because I couldn't hear her she would get mad and rudely repeat herself, at the end she didn't solve anything at all, all she said was I started a report for you and we will contact you in 5 to 7 business days. So just save your time and yourself go somewhere else.
