Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

7/21/2022 We checked in and proceeded to the room. I did my usual inspection of the mattress and sheets, and all looked clear. When I inspected the headboard, there was a mature bed bug on the side of the headboard on the bed on the right. It crawled behind the headboard before I could take a picture. We exited the room and went straight to the lobby. The manager was very sorry and said they had not had any complaints of bed bugs in 3 months and the entire hotel had been treated. Anyway, he gave me my money back without any issues and we found another hotel in the area. The overall hotel is rundown and dirty, in need of some major renovations, in addition to the bed bug issues they have have.
