Incident happened on 6/26/22. Woke up around 3am to more than 10 bed bug bites up and down my arm. Proceeded to look around for bedbugs and located several walking around on the floor. We had switched the box springs on the beds and believe that disturbed them and caused them to come out of hiding because we didn't have a problem the first night we were there. My husband and I quickly packed up and left our room. Upon leaving we stopped in at the office and asked if they were aware of the bed bugs? The man replied "not in that particular room." He continued by saying "it had been a few months since they last had bed bugs!"...directed us to call when manager would be in at 7am that morning. That was yesterday and we still can't seem to reach him. I reached out to booking.com to request my refund as well as they are who I made the reservation with. I have also contacted a local bed bug attorney and plan to proceed with any and all measures to recover my full refund and compensation for this incredible nightmare! I do not recommend staying at this motel if it were the only place around!
