I arrived on 6/6/2022 and checked in around 4:30pm. I laid down in the bed under the covers for an hour. I then went to the gym. I’m the shower a few hours after that, I noticed my stomach and back were itchy. I inspected my body and there were small red, itchy dots on my chest, stomach, back and legs. It was dark by this time so I couldn’t see if there were bugs on the sheets, but I know bed bugs are hard to see even in ample lighting. I asked to have my room changed. The next morning I asked to speak with the hotel manager, who said, “I can’t do anything as it could be from a variety of things.” He also asked if I had a photo of the bug, which would not have been possible given their size and dim lighting at the time. I do have photos of the bites all over my body.
