April 3rd we reported it, we saw a bug the first day we moved into the room but my fiancé crushed it not knowing what it was. We went into the room on march 28th we noticed these weird marks on my youngest son on April 1st he had 2 spots so we thought maybe a spider bite or something we’ve never in our life have encountered bed bugs, on April 2nd my youngest woke up with at least 8 more bits and I had woken up with a couple on my right arm, on the morning of April 3rd I decided to take all the bedding off after a family member suggested looking for bed bugs. I found many of them I got a few pics on my iPhone in love mode so u can see the bugs moving fast. We told the owner about them and he freaked out on us threatening to kick us out so we asked him if he could please do something about it then he tried to say we were lying till I showed him prove then when I showed him prove he said in so little words that we were right about the bugs so he set off a bomb thing for the bugs and told us to come back in like an hour or so. He said we were good to go back in there but today on April 4th I woke up with my skin on fire and a bunch more bits I have pictures of all my bits my child’s bits the bugs and a hospital report saying that the pics of the bugs were identified as bed bugs and that our bits were indeed from bed bugs the doctor warned us about not itching cause it can cause a bigger infection had to get cream and said if it doesn’t go away or get better to come back in. It’s not just the fact of us trying to do the right thing but he robbed us, we paid $1,100 to him for the month and a security deposit, he said that he didn’t care if everyone left cause he’s selling the place and a guy in room 22 said that he had bed bugs in his room also when the owner tried to say it was just us. He wrote us a check for $525 dollars but like I said he said he wasn’t gonna give us our money if we were gonna report it.
