Stayed in Room 112 had bed bugs. Best Westren Newton IA on March 4th, 2022. At 11:30 pm found 2 bed bugs took 1 in a cup to the front desk. The young lady was very apologetic and got me another room. Which was disappointing because I booked a King room but there was one left and I'm disabled so the first floor was best for me but they also was all booked. So in the middle of the night I had to move to the 3rd floor with my 1 year old granddaughter. So of course she was up all night. When the manager came In the next day he was very rude and not once apologized. He in fact tried to make it my fault the room had bedbugs and went as far as telling us we could pack our stuff up and go some place else. For one all my money was wrapped up in this place and he refused to help me their and I was stuck because I had no vehicle, came with a group or I'd just went home. I did not deserve to be treated the way I was from him and if my new home gets guest from my stay I'm going to be very upset. They moved me from Room 112 to 306 and this man I don't feel will have both rooms treated. Corporate Saif they will investigate and get back to me. Monday morning calling health department. All the young ladies working the desk was great and the breakfast ladies was awesome. But I will not return here for the next family gathering!
