Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We checked in on 2/18/2022 for a 3 night stay. I noticed a dark piece of dirt or it could have been a dead bug on the queen bed against by the wall and thought it was nothing. On the morning of 2/19/2022 we woke up early and I saw something dark crawling on that same bed. We took a picture and with a identification app we were told it was a bed bug. We caught it and killed it. Of course we checked out and put all our clothes we were wearing in the washer and dryer on hot heat. We will never stay at this hotel again. Still trying to get our points back from IHG.
