Business Trip: 3 workers for Walmart DC checked in at hotel 1/8/22, bed bugs biting in room 114, and co-worker in room 116, by 1/15 they had bite marks all over their bodies. They were supposed to stay until 1/23 but had to check out and return home to another state due to the bed bugs. It was reported to the manager at the front desk which he responded with ‘Oh not again’ and apparently it has been a problem in the past and based on other reports for this area it’s a huge problem. We have reached out to the Valencia county health department and then we’re transferred to the environmental Epidemiology department who is over run with COVID19 patient right now. This problem isn’t going to go away on its own. We are seeking legal action due to the severity of the bites. My husband had to seek urgent care medical attention when he arrived home. He’s lost employment money from this as well.
