I stayed at the econo lodge on September 29th. 2021. I had booked 2 nights but only stayed one. the afternoon of the 30th i realized i had 8 bite marks on my arm all clustered together, they were extremely itchy. i went back to my hotel room and started looking around. ib pulled the sheet off and instantly see 5 or 6 bedbugs start running around. i was disgusted and packed my things right away. i went to the front desk to inform the staff. They told me that i would not be getting a refund due to the fact that it was already 2pm and their cleaners were already done for the day therefore, they could not RESELL THE ROOM that SAME DAY. I called the econo lodge headquarters and they said there is nothing they can do except offer me a free night for my next stay. i made it clear i would never stay in their hotel ever again and i would just like my money back. they do not seem to think its a big problem. even after a week my arm is still itching and has visibly noticeable red spots.
