We arrived in the evening of 9/14/2021 and the room seemed tolerable enough. When sitting in the bed nearer the window later in the evening a number of small ants were noted, then another small light colored/red insect crawled across the bedspread (approximately 12:30am), which was identified as a 1st instar bed bug. Upon further inspection, an adult bedbug was also found at the foot of the bed on the outside of the bedspread. We captured the adult insect, notified the front desk of the situation and that we would be checking out. Then delivered the captured bed bug to the front desk, the attendant apologized and said the manager would contact us the next day and confirmed our contact info. 2 days later and the hotel has made no contact, we will be calling corporate to report the situation.
