Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed at the Motel 6 in Seaford, DE on Thursday, August 19th for one night, Checked in at about 8:30 PM and left next morning at 8:00 AM. Later that night I started to see red marks on my right hand, right arm, and right bicep. Next day they were worse and swollen. I went to the PennMed Urgent Care in Parkesburg, PA. Doctor told me it was bedbugs! I informed them on hotel and location. I later called the hotel as well as their customer service line. Was told by both that they would "conduct and investigation" into the matter. The hotel was dirty to begin with but I just needed a bed for the night close to my client I was visiting. I have paperwork from the Urgent Care if you need to see. As well as pics of my arm and hand.
