Below you will see my email correspondence with the GM Jon. I spoke with Jon today and he was extremely unprofessional and lied to me multiple times. Jon stated he looked at the linen and inspected the mattress immediately for bed bugs. I sent Jon one photo see attached. He went on to say he apologizes for the stained pillow case and house keeping needs to do a better job discarding stained pillow cases. I told Jon it wasn’t a pillow case and asked why he keeps saying it was a pillow case. I then let Jon know I have additional photos. I asked if he looked at the linen and mattress as he said why did he say it was a stained pillow case. He then got loud and very disgruntled with me his tone changed because he knows that he has been telling me lies. He finally admitted it was on the mattress not the pillow as he was trying to tell me. Jon then said we can end this conversation which I said yes and hung up. Jon then aggravated harassed me by calling me 5x in under a minute. I answered the 5th time and Jon very irate and screaming asked if I want to continue playing games with him. I said I’m done being lied to and will be calling someone else. I still do not know when the room wa treated for bed bugs. The GM Jon denies it ever being treated although there are clear signs of bed bugs with blood and feces on the mattress and various spots along the edge. Additionally there is a bed bug encasement on the mattress. The GM took a defensive argumentative stance with me from the beginning and harassed me. I would like to know when the room was treated for bed bugs so I know my risk level due to the encasement being ripped. I would greatly appreciate a call back from someone who can help me my # is 716-604-2234. Further you should not harass a customer by calling them 5x in a row over one minute. Have a super weekend. So you saw a stained pillow case? Nope you sure didn’t because you are not being truthful. Glad I held back on my pictures. On Feb 25, 2021, at 5:23 PM, Jon Schorr wrote: Call me tomorrow. My professional opinion is that the photo does not have anything to do with bed bugs (clearly a pillow-case that needs to be discarded and for that I am sorry). Again, according to my records, there has been no bed bug treatment, concerns otherwise in that room. > > Many thanks, safe travels home. > > Jon Schorr > General Manager > 45 East 33rd Street > New York NY 10016 > > +1 212 755 1108 Hotel > +1 646 681 4752 Direct > +1 646 429 8965 Fax > > jon.schorr@hilton.com > HGI.com > www.newyorkmidtownparkave.hgi.com > > Join Hilton Honors Here > > > Hilton CleanStay with Lysol protection is setting a new standard for hotel cleanliness and disinfection. > > Learn more by visiting: http://www.hilton.com/cleanstay > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Richard Healy [mailto:rjh667@yahoo.com] > Sent: Thursday, February 25, 2021 4:22 PM > To: Jon Schorr > Subject: Re: Room 1902 Bed Bug Concern > > > At no point did I say there was bed bugs because I’m not a professional exterminator to identify them. Additionally they are difficult to see especially during day light. You do not know if there are bed bugs in that room confirmed or not. I just checked out two hours ago so how you can make that statement is perplexing. > > The only facts known at this point is that room was treated for bed bugs, an encasement was put on the bed and that encasement is now ripped. If you could kindly let me know when the room was treated so I know my risk level?
