Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

July 19, 2020 night we checked into Econo lodge and Suites in Spokane WA. We were flying out of Spokane early morning of July 20th after a long trip out west. The hotel was dirty and door jam was broken but I was ok with that. In the middle of the night I woke up with itch and thought things was crawling on me. I woke up and there was a bug on the bed, I squeezed It and blood came out and I know that is a bed bug. Then I look around the bed and noticed lots of dead bug skins and feces. It was so gross. We had to check out 4am in the morning so hotel front desk was empty and no one was there for us to report It. I called later in the day from the airport and they said they will "investigate" and nothing else. I will never stay there again.
