Bedbugs were found in room 221. The first of which was on the morning of Friday 10/25, 2019 crawling across the bathroom floor. My husband took that one in a piece of tissue to the desk clerk. She took a picture of it on her cell phone. On the evening of Saturday 10/26, 2019 the second bedbug was on the baseboard of the low partition located in the bed area. (The picture is provided for that one.) I communicated with the general manager, Scott, to request a refund. He was provided with pictures of the bedbugs. His response sent via text message on Monday 10/28 was: Fwd: I was able to see the picture from the one your husband had brought down in the morning. Thank you for reaching out to me. I am so sorry you had to go through this. My corporate office agrees with you and I on refunding your stay. I will process the refund this evening and send a revised folio At the time that I spoke with Scott, he verbally stated that another patron also reported bedbugs on another upper floor. He did not go into details about this scenario. As of March, 2020 we still have not received the refund. I then communicated with Ravi Patel the current general manager. 1) Ravi Patel stated that he will not provide the refund because he was not employed at this location at the time of the incident. 2) He also stated that bed bugs do not crawl across bathroom floors. 3) Ravi Patel mentioned having the hotel checked for bedbugs but they were clearly still alive and present. As of today, April 1, 2020, the hotel has refused to acknowledge that the bedbugs were live and present in room 221.

2 bedbugs were found in room 221. The first of which on the morning of Friday 10/25/2019, crawling across the bathrom floor.. My husband took that one in a piece of tissue to the desk clerk. She took a picture of it on her cell phone. On the evening of Saturday 10/26/2019 the second bedbug was on the baseboard of the low partition located in the bed area. We requested a refund and were told by the manager at that time that the corporate office agreed that there were bedbugs and that we would be refunded. We were denied the refund and are still fighting for it as of April 2020.
