Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We stayed at Grand Villas at Cypress Pointe from Nov. 2-9, 2019. We did not notice bed bugs until our last day. We woke up to hundreds of bites on 3 of our family members. Upon inspection, we found live bugs in the beds. We captured a few and placed them in a baggie and promptly called management. They came to look and found more bugs. We fille dout an incident report and they offered to steam our luggage and launder our clothing. We declined as we just wanted out of the place. We steamed our own luggage and laundered our own clothing.

Checked in on November 26, 2021 around 8:00 p.m. My family and I sprayed lysol on practically everything as soon as we got to our rooms. After, I took a shower immediately and went to bed that night. Woke up the next day with bedbug bites on my ankles and neck (about 7 bites in total). When I told management, they just offered to provide us with new sheets and no other assistance. I am writing this on November 27, 2021 and will see if I wake up with any new bug bites after having sprayed the entire room and changing/inspecting the bedding. This is unfortunate to write because everything else is lovely.
