Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I arrived Saturday 11/2/19 evening and all seemed fine. On Sunday I found one bug on the bed but didnâ€™t know what it was so I squashed it and flushed it away. Monday I found another on the bed but when I picked it up in a tissue it squashed and was full of blood. Again I was unaware of what it was. Woke up Tuesday with two bites on my arm but couldnâ€™t find any more bugs(obviously didnâ€™t look hard enough). Got up Wednesday to find more bites. By this time Iâ€™d researched the possibility of bed bugs. I told the front desk who dismissed it and said they are bugs from outside. I checked out and returned home. I subsequently came out with more bites on my back and arms. All the research I found indicate they were bed bugs.
