Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

The apartment building is currently (as of 10/4/19) experiencing a bed bug infestation affecting 3 apartment units and the community room. Management has sprayed the apartments numerous times, but the tenant that brought the bed bugs in has failed to comply with all the requirements to rid his unit of the bugs.This is a HUD senior building managed by Lutheran Social Services.

This apartment building has had a bed bug infestation for about a year and a half (since June of 2019). They have utilized one company for bed bug remediation and that company has been totally ineffective - and the bed bugs have not ever gone away. This a HUD senior building managed by Lutheran Social Services. The health risks as well as emotional trauma have had a lasting and horrific consequence on the residences. Something has to be done! Where are these senior citizens to go?
