Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Sept. 21st 2019 Stayed in cabin #1 at Golden gate canyon State Park with multiple friends. First night one friend woke up with swollen bites and we weren't sure what the cause was. Same friend got bites again on the second night, and another noticed bites later that day. The second friend then found a live bug in there bag when inspecting it at home. Management was contacted at the state park and they brushed it off as a minor issue. Stated that they have dealt with some infestations in other cabins in the recent past, and said that there was no way to prove they originated from the cabin. Also said that they could not go to check because there were new guests already staying in the cabin! Overall handled very poorly.
