Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

9/21/2019 arrived for our honey moon. Woke up at 4:30 am, itching. Realized I was COVERED in bed bug bites. Stripped back sheets and found black dots and two fresh pink blood spots. Couldn't find any actual bed bugs, but the mattress had a giant hole cut in the front like they had tried to treat it for bed bugs in the past. The manager refused to refund our money and laughed in my face when I called to explain the situation because there was no one at the desk when we left. Very poorly run establishment. I called the department of health and the BBB. I can provide photos and doctor diagnosis if necessary.
