8/31/2019 Bed bug bites suspected then three actual live bed bugs found in room. We have bugs and took to office where they offered to give us our money back for the remainder of the stay.

We checked into 3 rooms on August 30,2019. After waking up on August 31st. My daughter in my room had bites on her arm and hand that were puffy. On my bed a small blood spot had appeared on the white sheets. As I was talking to my friend who had checked in to the room beside us, sye spotted a bed but crawling up the side of the mattress. We caught it and put it in a cup. Then we saw another and caught it too. Then my friend had a younger boy in her room that woke up to a line of bed bug bites as well. We immediently went to the desk to show our proof. She first dismissed us by insinuating that we must have brought them with us. They didn't have a problem. We told her we were reporting her to whatever agency we needed to and left. Twenty minutes later she came to our room and said we had until noon for a 1 might refund if wanted to stay somewhere else. Of course we looked around and were not having any luck due to it being labor day weekend and all room being booked up. Right as we were deciding to look one more place the manager came to our room and offered to switch us to another room he said was bed bug free. I talked to him about what happened and showed him my picture and physical proof but he was still trying to say they dont have a problem because he exterminates monthly. Then he showed me tape at the bottom of that room that had been put there as a barrier to let them know if there was bed bugs. That alone showed me that he did in fact have a problem prior to us being there. We did take the 2 new rooms and no one was bit that night but I did catch another bug crawling under the sheet before I went to sleep. We just had to tough it out for one more night. When we got home we left everything in the back of the truck and cleaned and laundered everything before we took it inside our home. We are praying we were thorough enough to not have brought any home.
