Stayed the night of 8/25/19 room 126. Started to get ready the next morning and noticed something beside the closet door on the tile floor. Clearly an adult bed bug. Thought it was dead but it appeared to kind of twitch. Picked it up with tweezers and put it in a white paper coffee cup and called management. Very concerned that she seemed to not be able to recognize what a bed bug was or take it seriously enough. Will NEVER stay here again. They reimbursed us. We were supposed to stay two nights. But the much bigger issue to me is management. I'm very concerned that she may not see the need to have the room treated and appropriate steps taken.

Bedbugs were found on November 21-22 overnight stay. We saw one bug about 5pm on a pillow, but did not recognize it as a bed bug. We had never experienced bed bugs before. At approximately 2am, the bed bugs were discovered . My friend woke to find bedbugs at the head of the bed and on her pajamas. We both got up and I found bedbugs in my bed also. We notified the night clerk who came to the room and confirmed the problem. She offered to move us to another room, but found no rooms available. The clerk then offered to find us a different hotel. We ethically could not accept another hotel due to contamination of our luggage and other items. We placed all items into plastic bags and drover two and one half hours back home at 2:30am with no sleep. It was a miserable experience. We notified the hotel in writing of the expectations of room reimbursement, luggage reimbursement-3 pieces were destroyed. Shoes were also discarded. All clothing items were immediately washed and dried on high temperatures.
