We booked a one night stay for 6/17/19 and were assigned to Room 806. We went out for dinner and returned to our room at about 11 pm at which time we saw a live bedbug moving about at the foot of the bed. The comforter was white, making it very easy to spot. We immediately collected the live bug in a ziplock baggie and brought it downstairs to the desk clerk. The clerk was very apologetic and assigned us to a different room without hesitation. We booked the room using rewards points, thus there was no offer of monetary compensation. Instead we were offered a breakfast credit that we would not have been able to use due to our early departure time. The clerk said that their procedure is to contact an exterminator and have the room heat treated. This led us to believe that this has occurred before since they seem to already have a process in place. Needless to say, we won't be staying here again. We were disappointed that no one from the management staff reached out to us prior to our departure.
