On 06/04/2019 somewhere around midnight or so I checked into the Holiday Inn Express in Wilder KY. My 1st Impression of the place was very nice. The place was only a couple of years old. I was worn out from a long hard days work and just wanted to go to sleep. I checked in and they gave me the keys to room 201. Before I took my luggage up I went up to inspect the room (as I always do). To my horror there were bed bugs EVERYWHERE. It only took a few seconds to locate them, as this was a MASSIVE INFESTATION of them. I've never quite seen anything like it before. There were so many of them along the base boards on the wall that the bed was on, that it looked like the carpet was crawling. They were on the furniture as well, on the headboard, and underneath the table. I went back to the front desk, and told the lady on duty, and she came up to look for herself. She agreed that we had a problem and offered me a different room Right next door to 201, which I declined. I was too tired to go elsewhere, but wasn't going to stay directly on the other side of the wall. She finally gave me a room on a different floor on the other end of the building which I checked thoroughly and found no bed bugs. I was finally able to get some rest. Not sure what they did about 201. It was never mentioned to me again.

I've had bed bugs and noticed a few signs, but no evidence. Noticed a lot of spiders. Couldn't shake the feeling. Set my alarm for 3am and found one on me. Checked room again still just the 1. I stayed 6/27/23. Work and stay in this location a lot. Management tried telling me it was a tick, never again!
