Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Moved into bay point apartments after I was promised this would be the best place to live in Pacific Beach. I bought brand new couches and with on less then a few weeks they were infested with bed bugs. So I tossed out the couch and bought another brand new couch after I treated the apartment. A few weeks later the 2nd new couch was infested. So I tossed that couch out and purchased a 3rd BRAND NEW COUCH once again it became infested. I have tried to have patience and report to the management about this issue and the refuse to pay for treatment or at least help me pay for treatment. They also blamed me for bringing the bed bugs. I have never been so insulted. I've never seen a bed bug until I lived here. I've also spoken to a couple of other people who live in different buildings and said they have had bed bug issues as well and had the same treatment from the management as I did. You can also read reviews online where tenants have complained in the past about bed bug issues. Beware and do not move here!
