Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My family and I stayed at this hotel the nights of 11/23/18 and 11/24/18, and departed 11/25/18. I received 6 bites the night of 11/24 (I woke up around 4 a.m. itching my arm and what felt like mosquito bites) consistent with photos of bedbug bites that are still itching today (11/27/18). We had to get back home ahead of a blizzard so we left quickly. I have never been bitten by bedbugs before so I didn't realize that it what it was until I got home and did some research and saw that my bites were the exact same appearance as other bedbug bites online. I called the hotel on 11/26 to report it. The person I spoke to was concerned and said they would re-inspect the room. Overall it was a very nice, clean hotel, so I was surprised that our room had bedbugs. Management was very professional in handling my report.
