I was staying at the Homewood Suites West Loop from the 9th of September. On the weekend, I started to notice bites on my body, initially thought nothing of it. After 3 days of waking up being covered in more bites, I raised it with the hotel. They moved me to a new room and said I had to wash all my clothes. However, they would not pay for me to go and see a doctor, and the General Manager, Dwight, was not helpful. The pest control company took 2 days to come in, and eventually reported positive for bed bugs. I've now had to move hotels, and I'm terrified that some of the bugs may have come with me, in my bags or suitcases. They did not offer to disinfect any of my things (shoes, bags, luggage) etc. and I had to ask for compensation. Never stay in this hotel.
