10/5/18 Checked in at the Red Coach due to very few vacancies in town that night. Went to bed at 12:30am, got woken up at 2:30am feeling bug bites. Looked in the mirror, had 1 bite on my jaw, one on my neck, and two on my shoulder. Immediately tried to call the front desk. Called 3 times, no answer. Got dressed. Went down to the office. A sign on the door said that between 2am and 6am were the quiet hours for the motel. No one was available, so if it was an emergency to call 911. When I went to the front office in the morning I told them I had to buy new clothes, go to the laundromat and get a different hotel to stay an additional night to make sure that I didn't take the stupid bugs home, she was completely unsympathetic. Instead of being shocked by the bugs, she got upset at me and said if it was so bad I should have reported it to them right away and they would have moved me to another room. I informed her that I tried several times, but they were unavailable. They made no attempt to apologize and the worst part was, this was one of their handicapped accessible rooms. I'd hate to this how I could have accomplished getting to wal-mart to buy new clothes, going to the laundromat, etc, if I had been in a wheelchair..
