We were to stay from February 24 to 26, 2018. Our room number was 411 Time was approx. 11 p.m. . My friends were in the back bedroom closet to the hallway door and had gone to bed early. My friend came to me and asked me to take a look at her arm. She had welts on her arms and back. (SHE IS ALLERGIC TO BUG BITES). Me being a former Pest Control Person went to her bedroom and turned on the lights. Bed Bugs were crawling on her pillow in the bed as well. I checked the other two beds up in the front as well. Bed Bugs also in those two beds. We called the Front Desk and a man came up to check and said yes they are. He called down to the office on his radio. Asking them to move us but there was no rooms available. He said called the Holiday Sands North. We all agreed that we were not going to stay regardless of a vacant room because I know due to my Pest Control back ground they Spread From Room to Room. ( Man in the Front Office told my friend they DON"T MOVE) THAT IS NOT CORRECT. Front Office gave us our money back for the room but it did not seem that he was concerned with the issue. I would like to know if the Holiday Sands South can be responsible for Heating up our 4 homes since we have probably carried them home with us too.. That is a very expensive undertaking and would like to know the answer to this question. We are all locals to this area and just wanted to get away for a nice weekend. IT was RUINED.

8/22/2021 We were on a girls trip, I got my first bite the first night. We didn’t think anything of it. I kept having bites appear each day. Still didn’t think of bed bugs because I’ve never had an experience like this… well now they’re all over my body! It hurts so bad. I called the hotel today, I don’t like to complain but this is too far! & the manager laughed at me! Thought this was a joke. Said oh we haven’t had any reports from that room but other rooms are being checked… I’m pissed! I’m waiting for him to call me back with a report of it. But I’m not happy with how I was treated & how he’s not taking it serious. Garrett At holiday sands is awful! I possibly brought them home with me as well! I wouldn’t take my 2 year old around this hotel what so ever!
