Date and time - January 13, 2018, approximately 4:30 PM. This is the date and time we discovered the bedbugs on a futon in the kitchen area. I had found two on my shirt. We had already spent one night at the Cherokee Cabin, but did not see the bugs until the next afternoon. The cabin was filthy and we really should have left the first night. I took pictures of the bugs and the filth and emailed them to the Park Manager and his Boss. We were reimbursed our money, but I feel Park Management hasn’t done enough to prevent other Customers from having to go through this experience. I was told that it’s hard to find good help at this time of year and there are more bedbug cases out there than people really know. The Park Manager said he will check the cabins as he has time. I feel they are not handling the issue well. I will never go back to these cabins again and do not want anyone else to go through this horror.
