Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

On Oct. 21, was itching in bed. Kept getting up, turning on lights, and looking at bed. Had small bite on left wrist. Moved to other bed. Finally fell asleep about 4 a.m. Woke up and saw a bed bug on the sheet in bed I was in. Picked up pillows on other bed and saw small dotted stains on sheets near pillow, indiciitive of bed bugs. Put bed bug in plastic bag and took pictures with cell phone. Called manager. Housekeeping manager examined bed. Live bug ran across sheet. Manager placed it in plastic bag with other bug. Said he would heat treat my belongings for two hours. Took off clothes I wore home in the garage and immediately placed in washing machin.
