Arrived at the hotel at approx. 10pm on Friday, June 30th. Went to the room, changed our clothes and went out. Came back at approx. 2am and discovered a bedbug. I then moved the sheets to view the mattresses. There were bedbug tracks covered a section of the mattresses. We have pictures of everything. We called the front desk to report the issue. It took security 2 hours to arrive. After consulting with my parents, I asked for large trash bags so I could go through my stuff, piece by piece, to ensure I did not travel with the bugs to another room. When we went downstairs, we were treated as if we had done something wrong. Security was asking why "this wasn't taken care of already" and the manager, Yolanda, proceeded to harass us about who was in the room (which is ridiculous, it's a room with 2 beds), telling us they can't treat all of the belongings from the room, put us in a smoking room (which we refuse to stay in), and saying that they wouldn't compensate us until they complete a lab analysis on the room to determine that there are actually bedbugs. We had the actual bug as well as the fact that you can clearly see the evidence in the room. The hotel is messing with us, I assume, because we are 25. The infestation is so bad in this room, there is no possible way they didn't know they were there.

1 ) July 24 2am 2) the staff handled it poorly I had to argue to move hotels. They wouldn't clean our stuff or pay or move us until they were sure it was bed bugs. So 2 days out of our 4 week vacation with no clothes. Terrible.

On 5th night of stay, my wife felt something crawling up her leg, was in fact a bed bug, very large and confirmed with pictures that it was a bed bug. This was Wednesday, September 26 in the late evening. Security came up over an hour after the call. we had captured the bug in a cup, took pictures, security guard took pictures. we went to front desk, security was with us, confirmed he saw the bug, he also took pictures of it. Desk service mgr. told us we would move rooms and she would refund three nights stay. next morning on check out, we were told there was no refund - manager came over. Noted that the file notes said that we were being refunded only three nights of the "resort fee:" which i did not recall even being part of our room rate. he refused to refund any other money. complained of having to shut down 8 rooms. Said third party would test for bed bugs, if positive would consider refunding our rooms for the whole stay. One week later we were told test came back negative, no bed bugs, and refunded one night only (cheapest of the nights we were there). We had proof of the bug - and still - that was the reaction. We foolishly left the bug in the room - per their instructions from security.

1. 3/22/21 7:00am Found Bedbugs crawling in towels on bathroom floor. 2. I was left on hold for hours. I was never able to speak with someone about this issue.

August 15th 2023. Filed report with Flamingo security. Bed bugs along the crevices of the pull out sofa mattress in room. Have pictures.
