Bedbug Reviews

Anonymous

my room, #330, I woke up in the middle of the night (May 30-31) and saw what I thought was a small bug crawling on my pillow case. I jumped up, looked again and there was a tiny bug on my pillow case. I picked it up and took it to the bathroom where the light was to examine the bug. When I looked, the bug had smashed into a bloodbath between my index finger and thumb. I washed my hands, went back and looked at my pillow and bed some more. I found a small fresh blood spot on my pillow case and another roundish, almost tear shaped, brownish-reddish bug. I called the front desk, told her there were bugs in/on my bed and she came up to my room. She did as I did, picked up the bug and went to the bathroom. Upon inspection, the same thing happened. It was a bloodbath between her index finger and thumb, which she washed in the sink. She made the statement that she believed they were bed bugs; which was my fearful beliefs also. I took my phone and looked up images and information on bedbugs at that very moment. We concluded and confirmed they were bed bugs in my bed. She then noticed a small bug on the door frame of the closet door. She suggested I take my phone and take a picture, which I did. She took some tissues and captured the small bug from the door frame. She then put it in a glass drinking glass. When she left the room, she took the pillow with the fresh bug blood stain and the cup with the one small bug. I began two controllable become very apprehensive and concerned of what to do at that moment. I was now mildly panicking of how to protect me and my belongings to not infest my car or my home. The front desk attendant offered to give me a new room. I said I really didn't want another room because if there are bed bugs in one hotel room, there is a great possibility they are in the other hotel rooms. It was around 2:30-ish in the morning, I had nowhere to go and had just drifted off to a light sleep just after midnight. I was exhausted, so I took the room, #419. Veronica had brought with her the key to 419 and a luggage carrier for me. She also suggested that I speak with other employees in the morning when they arrived around 8 a.m. Upon entering 419, I set my bags on the kitchenette table. I took my nightgown clothing and put it in a plastic bag that was found in the closet. I proceeded to take a shower to cleanse myself, especially my long hair that was lying on the pillow where the bed bugs were. I noticed what I thought to be a bite on my right shoulder, which is also the side I was laying on and was touching my pillow.
